    ... just one or two signs in English, not enough if you&re trying to figure out how many more stops you need to go. Frommer&s Japan says to allow at least 3 hours to see Meiji Mura; I think four hours is more realistic. It was definitely a worthwhile excursion!     From Tokyo Station, we took the 10.30am shinkansen to Odawarra. Takako's parents had come along to mind our bags whilst we took the tour around the station. Owen had organised a small celebration at Odawarra station with champagne, orange juice and cheese and crackers. Once again, Mr and Mrs Ishige were roped in to help.     ... so nice, quiet, and calm here. The city is in the country side, which makes it all the more appealing to me!
    I have noticed that people here a lot more quieter and polite... and I feel like a loud mouth baboon talking and walking down the street!
    I get to rent a bike and shop around today! I am looking forward to seeing what the day ...

    Ah, e os Japoneses são tão simpáticos quanto dizem: Os mais idosos quando passava por eles, faziam sempre uma vénia rápida e diziam "Ohayou gozaimasu" e alguns dos mais novos olhavam e faziam uma vénia enquanto andavam. Todos nas diferentes lojas que visitei foram imensamente prestáveis e simpáticos, dizendo sempre um muito energético "IRASSHAIMASE" quando entrávamos na loja.
