      ... a population of about 400,000. Luckily a lot of the sights are in the central area so managed to get around on foot and see a few of them. eg. a couple of art galleries and the central park ( Senshu Park). The park was the site of the castle but that has all gone. It is now the home of a couple of temples (shrines), some reconstructed bits ( gates ) and some monuments.
