Today I took advantage of the open day at the imperial palace and had a quick look around. It wasn't anything that special compared to many of the other palaces and temples I'd seen in Kyoto however there were a few interesting, colourful panels. ... then this! We got part of the sunset and then it got freezing and decided to run back down!!

When back at the Hostel, I thought I was going for a little shower after the hike, until I found an Onsen (Japanese spa) on the roof top of the hostel, Don’t know if it was for us but feck it I’m going in!!! Hot tub over looking Mount Fuji, great way to finish a day!
