... for the first time ever, managed to get pictures that accurately captured the stunningly bright pink of some of the plum blossoms. In sunlight, the colour never comes out right, no matter how much I mess with my camera's settings; these pictures are the real deal. No matter how unreal the blossoms look, I promise that they looked just as vivid in person.

Shop 'till you drop!
... was really confusing to see which line to take but my dad spoke a bit of Japanese and could tell where to go. We started off at Tokyo Station which was a ten minute walk from our hotel. (Our hotel was close to EVERYTHING!)
At Tokyo Station we had to take the Yamanote Line. All the lines were olour coordinated and our colour was green. It cost us each $3.00 to get from Tokyo Station to Shibuya Station. The Bullet Train went super fast! ...
The Belly Button Festival
... curb in the shade to occupy for the main parade. We watched everyone get ready then it began. It was truly a site to see and we had a really good time. Beyond the belly buttons, there were other kinds of costumes dances and inventive takes on the original concept. Please see the picture and video to experience it yourself.
