I woke up from our bender feeling amazing. That saki is fabulous, no hangover, no nausea, just a clear head with which to contemplate the catastrophic night before. Amanda was still asleep, as I left her at about 2:30, so I took the bathroom first this time, (the room is so small and cramped that we often had to head to the rooftop ...

On our way down we took a break and had for 80 yen a cooked egg and green tea. Many thanks to Nicolas and Ana for the great travel information of Japan, all your tips were absolutely worth it.

... 5, half way up the mountain where they drop you off to start. So we warmed up, walked in the complete opposite direction and took a picture.

That night we met a gentlemen from Toronto that was a technician for cirque de soli on his way home after a 15 month tour in Japan. He told us about life in the circus which seemed to involve a lot of drinking and time away from home.
