Beautiful school

Today we went to Matusiro ES. It shares some of its space with the Samurai house that I went to on July 1. This school was very organized and excited for our visit.

The school was rebuilt 2 years ago. The city spent lots of money on it we were told. You could tell by the beautiful wood building material. It also had existed as a school for I think they said 150 years. What a history.

... song. Only thing I remember from it was "tiki tiki tiki" sounded like the birds from the "Tiki room" at Magic Kingdom. Then off to the next room where the kids sang "Let it Go" and danced to techno music with bright neon green gloves on. We got out of school early and did some shopping in the city. Well Allyce mostly shopped and I just looked. Never been a big shopper.

Tonight was the Japanese flower arrangement class at the community center. It had the same teacher from the class on Friday at the school. These flowers were much nicer and my flowers were gifted to me ...

... Then outside to sit in a regular one. I was definitely a bit sensitive to the temperature. tried sitting in the sauna but couldn't handle it. Also Onsen we took a rest and I found a massage chair. What a great day. I slept really well that night.

Tonight she took me to get Udon Noddles! my favorite! I had tempura shrimp, sweet potato, lotus root.(like eating a carrot).

Today is the official halfway point of the trip!
