The owner of the onsen then decided to build the monkeys their own onsen further away inadvertently creating a tourist attraction which has become very popular. ... in which I had to stop and go to the bathroom to clean up. Besides that, this afternoon was so much fun. The banana crepe with chocolate sauce, cheesecake, ice cream, and cream was also absolutely amazing. Coming back to the lodge for a hot shower felt amazing and a dinner of Japanese hot pot was served. This meal was perfect for a cold winter night. ... bought a fleece bandana and ski gloves as mine could not withstand the cold weather. Once again, I took a hot shower before going for a yummy dinner once again cooked by the owners. We started with a clam chowder soup, a potato croquette w/ pumpkins, roasted chicken w/ potatoes & rice, and finally a Christmas log cake for dessert. Now I'm just chilling in the lounge area with my family with a nice heated blanket. I'm very excited for another day of snowboarding ...
