    ... crossings in a morning - thank Christ there are no more border controls.

    This is supposed to be one of the most scenic drives in Europe. However, apart from rolling meadows, we didn't see any mountains due to the low cloud. We also had to be ultra careful riding due to the greasy road surfaces.

    Today I was with the blue bus as we went to Old Town Innsbruck and saw the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl) which is made of 2,738 fire-gilded copper tiles from Emperor Maximillan I to mark his wedding to Bianca Maria Sforza, the Duke of Milan's daughter. We were also able to experience the beauty of the Imperial Palace.

    Today was pretty much a write off due to a massive hangover. Luckily the motogp was on and i kicked back and watched that all day. Went for a walk with a random girl that I met that morning just on the hiking trails at the top of the hill. Very slow going and it was raining the whole time.
