The town of Lucerne is very pretty, it was not as old as other cities like Paris or Barcelona, but still had a very traditional feel. ... across Brienzersee back to Interlaken. It was a fine day all day and got quite warm in the afternoon and through to early evening when we had a torrential downpour for a short time. On our evening walk to town we heard a brass band which was playing in "Les Alpes" resturant. The music was a mixture of brass band music and dance music. We did a Slow Rhythm dance down the main street of Interlaken and then returned to bed.

We then went to visit a HUGE monument, which is an engraved Lion into rock, which signifies the courage of the Swiss soldier, on thing on the swiss people they LOVE themselves, their country, anything practically related to them. ... of frustration and just had a CBO burger. A chicken patty with bacon and lettuce. Quite nice and all fresh, again...better than home. Dan had a Daim McFlurry, I had a lemon crumble Sundae and then we kept walking.
We went over the bridge of lake Lucerne, we went to the watch shops- got our free spoon in Bucherer and looked at Swiss Army knives. We purchased a few things, including 2 cow bells..for Tiller and Gixxer. I wonder if they will mind having them ...
