    ... we had a demonstration of a glass blower who has a shop in the next town...what a hoot!! He was drinking Jaegermeister - he said it has very low alcohol if you don't mix it with stuff like in America? - but he was a show man. The trade originated for test tubes for science labs and thermometers and evolved into art. He showed how he made the glass balls, and asked a guest to help. Cool. ...

    ... boat moved on down the Maine River and we spent the afternoon in the lounge reading and taking in the countryside.
