... and 18th centuries, which really adds to the atmosphere. I actually believe this goes for a very large portion of the center, because when you step into Bruges it is as close as going back in time as you're going to get.
Taking it easy comes with the territory, so we did whatever we felt like doing, whenever we wanted to. This was a little bit of a departure from my usual over planning, but I do think the trip I took through June and ...

Through Brugge to the North Sea ( in the rain)

I don't know when this trip is over if I will regret spending so little time in cities. I mean, today it was like 90 minutes in Brugge, one of the world's unique, charming cities. ... to share it with the others.... Every street has at least a couple of chocolatier shops, all with slightly different versions of the same thing. Some had chocolate fountains in their windows while others had big chocolate cartoon characters. All very temping to say the least!

Dan, Wigs and I managed to squeeze in a boat tour along the canal and a walking tour of the city, which both were really fun and we got to learn some history ...

    Running errands- like a normal/real person :)

... half brother for drinks in a pub over looking the main market square.

Unfortunately, it was raining the entire day. It wasn't cold but the rain just makes me want to curl up in a ball in a hoodie. And guess what I never thought I would ever want on my trip? A hoodie! HA. I did end up buying one while I was out with Jaey, but it was just funny that as much as I love to plan and think things through so thoroughly you never really can plan ...
