I don't know when this trip is over if I will regret spending so little time in cities. I mean, today it was like 90 minutes in Brugge, one of the world's unique, charming cities. Yesterday was maybe the same amount of time in Antwerp and the plan was basically the same: 60 minutes rolling around town on my bike and 30 minutes drinking a pricy, perfect Belgian beer. ... a few lonely nights I entered the rolling hills of the Ardenne forest and saw my first sign for Luxembourg. A much needed psychological boost of progression. I was beginning to learn that with each rotation of the pedals, little by little the miles were totting up and propelling me across Europe. A long way to go, but as each day passes there's a little less road to ride. The first hills were a shock to the ...

... Brugge isn't a major city there is plenty to do for the day. We walked around all day, getting a taste of the city. We even visited a centuries old church, home to one of the only MIchelangelo sculptures outside of Italy. Mid-afternoon, we set out for the train station where we grabbed some Belgian fries and then took a short train ride over to ...
