    ... turned south for Bellagio. Just off the coast of Veranna we stopped for picnic lunch and a Peroni. Then we navigated the busy waterways around Bellagio before heading back towards Lenno and eventually our boat yard. It was a great experience which we will repeat often in the future.     The monastery is dedicated to the Madonna del Sasso, meaning rock, since it is situated high upon a rocky, wooded crag. The Monastery was consecrated in 1487, some years after a monk had been visited up here by the Virgin Mary.
