... I had lomo saltado (beef dish) and Anna had the sea-bass ceviche. We also had maracuya (passionfruit) sours.
After dinner, Anna decided that I needed to try Bitteballen (stuffed meat and potato type croquettes), so we went to her local pub, and had a few. I am not a huge fan. I think these ones had a lot of cumin (or some other spice) in them, which I didn't like. The beer was good though (Erdinger (German) and Affligem (Belgian?)). That's all for today!
Very early morning start off to the middle Rhine ... The Rhine river being the busiest river in Europe. Many fortified castles and villages and steep slopes covered in vineyards .. white wines from this area. They also make the "ice" wine a super sweet wine made from frozen grapes. We past about 100 old castles in an half hour trip along the Rhine. Onto a Rhine cruise boat which we had to ourselves. Misty along the banks. An amazing number of trains on both sides of the river ...

Tonight is our final night on Tour so it was back to the Hotel to get ready for the Farewell Dinner!! Our big group had a few pre drinks at the Hostel Bar (2 for 1 happy hour! AWESOME) then off to a Chinese Restaurant for dinner and some funny stories of the days activities then off ...
... day and we were set.
We woke up early on Thursday and set off for Haarlem which we reached in time for an early lunch. We got a little lost attempting to find the town centre but ended up passing a bike shop on the way and as both Miriam and I were in serious need of our bike tyres being pumped up, it turned out to be a good thing!
