... I suggested we get something at one of the shops there, plus it would give Brenda a chance to try two different foods. I ordered the Currywurst (a sausage served with a curry-flavored ketchup) and she ordered the Frikadelle (a mixture of pork and beef with onion and spice—resembling a small hamburger). ... I worked on my blog for a while back at the hostel. I also booked accommodation in Heidelberg and Frankfurt. There were no hostels that I could find in Heidelberg so I ended up booking the Ibis hotel next to the main train station.

  • I did my washing that night. Someone had already put money into the machine so I got a free wash done :)

    ... each of my visits. I also had a nice conversation with the owner after everyone had left. I had stayed here for 9 nights on my first visit in 2008 and she is so hospitable, so it was a pleasure to have this special event in her place of business. Due to the length of our conversation, it meant that I would have to catch the last train from Bretzfeld to Heilbronn―something I prefer to avoid―but there were no problems.
