... pet dogs enjoyed the sunshine and views. (Dogs do go everywhere with their humans here).

The cogwheel train back to the valley ran a few minutes late - as had the one coming up. We had read that the Lauterbrunnen trains will wait for the cogwheel feeders and sure enough when we got to the station, the regular train was waiting. Interesting room and without a doubt, the smallest bathroom we have ever seen, and we've seen some small ones on cruise ships. This one makes a cruise ship look like a huge master bath! ... for reasonably priced food. While we failed in our quest, we did see many fabulous vegetable and flower gardens. After dinner, I took a kayak out from the hostel for a bit. It's impossible to describe the color of the water here. And, the mountains just after sunset reflected in the water are beautiful. We are hoping to take a train up into the mountains tomorrow and hike partway down, but the forecast doesn't ...

... Jersey Shores would have turned that down. Their talking was annoying, but not near as annoying as their stupid chants and songs they would sing over and over. I guess making fun of us got boring when we ignored them, so they decided to start talking to us in English like they were adults. It still didn't go very far, but they felt close enough to pull out their "snuff" all pour a line on their finger, do some German chant, try to get us to do it with them, then in unison sniff ...
