      ... I can't believe I was able to capture the fighter jets flying in formation as they roared overhead. We took the high path which was a little more taxing and took a bit longer. You can see the low road where we saw four cyclists encounter a cow. They passed one at a time but the last got stuck as another cow came to investigate.       ... and it was fabulous!

      The train has huge windows which pull down for good pictures, and it winds its way up the base of the Eiger through fields of wild flowers, forests and eventually snow, giving wonderful views over the valleys and up the mountains as it twists and turns. Green pastures, blonde cows, ginger chalets, blue skies, white snow – a photographer’s dream.

      Saturday, Ben got up early to take the train up the mountain to different little towns, and he planned on hiking to the Eiger that day.       ... and to get the train to stop you have to push a button. As the instructions were in German a d it wasn't obvious which button was for which directions pushed then both as the train only stopped every 2 hours to Interlaken so I wanted to be sure.       ... instructor whilst the rest of us headed up the Lauberhorn chair lift. The first runs at the top of the lift are black runs so we passed these and headed to the top of the Wixi chair lift to pick a red run as our first of the day. At the top of the Wixi is the start of the Men's World Cup Downhill race so pictures of the group passing the start gate were taken.
