A productive day at work, got lots of my jobs crossed off the list-hurrah! Yummy staff dinner from the No 14 kitchen of creamy mushroom pasta-sounds a bit dull? it really wasn't!

Journey to Interlaken
... group, and then the 4:06 train back from Interlaken to Lucerne. Unfortunately, it was too dark to see much scenery. On the upside, though, we have massive seats on our last first class train! Lisa, Renee and I got some groceries from the “Coop” (pronounced like a coop, not co-op) and then headed back to Renees where Lisa and I made tortellini and salad for dinner. We had a relaxing dinner, followed by some red wine and marshmallow ...

Breakfast was about the same as the last time we were here. Bread with jam, nutella, or butter. They also had cereal, but we stuck with the bread. They also give each person two tokens per day they stay for the hot coffee machine, laundry, or Internet. I got a cappuccino this morning.

To get to the trail, we had to take a cable car from where we stayed, Lauterbrunnen, to Grutschalp. From Grutschalp, we took a short 5 minute train ride to Murren, in Murren, we walked across the small village 5 minutes to the Allmendhuble funicular. Once in Allmendhuble (which was really just a restaurant) ...
Jungfrau
... up to Jungfraujoch. All the trains were narrow gauge with a cog wheel in the middle. The views weren't fantastic on the way up as it was still cloudy and it was snowing. There was sun peaking through the clouds though as we got past Kleine Scheidegg. There are 5 minute stops along the way between Kleine Scheidegg and Jungfraujoch so you can take a peak at the viewpoints. We finally arrived at Jungfraujoch around 12:30pm.
