Looking out from the castle walls, set high above the surrounding countryside, the views are nothing short of breathtaking then having a coffee in one of the small cafes in the streets of the old town below the castle gave time to reflect and think of the events that had taken place, the battles, the family lives, all over half a millennium ago.

I have a very impressive and scary video of part of days 3 ride where we had to take a diversion onto an autostrada due to a landslide on the side road Paul is writing about this experience all I'll say is it is something that I NEVER want to have to repeat in my life.
