What a lovely place, oozing architecture and old Venetian style - it was lovely! We drove, it took around 40 mins and headed straight into the tourist area. The Arena is spectacular inside and for this performance of Aida the stage was set so that about one third of the seats were empty and had become part of the staging. We were very uncertain about the weather as we set off to pick up our yatch. The drive along the lake was very pretty and we arrived at the port around 10.00am and it was quite windy....
