... Back on the boat & struck off again. What a beautiful afternoon we had!! A bit of a queue at the two locks we had to do. We managed to make it to our final destination at bridge #19 Poachers Pocket Pub by 8:00 pm. Had a great supper & visited with a local couple. We'll stroll back to our boat & to bed by 10:00 pm. We have been planning our BIG adventure for some time and now it is getting near! We have been planning and writing lists for weeks, last week "THE PACKING" finally started. Our roll call on Cruise Critic had lots of good hints and tips but the clothes list alone for 104 days was getting very long, 30 Formal nights, jacket required every evening for the gents and then daywear. ... hopefully he will continue to be a lucky mascot at our game against Stoke this Saturday. Already had some thoughts about our next trip, perhaps China or Vietnam and Laos, but we are definitely having 2 weeks on the beach in Mexico in the New Year. No jet lag issues for me, in fact I've slept 9 hours each night since we got back, 5 more days of malaria tablets, thankfully no more Imodium needed.
