You guys. You guys! You know how sometimes a place is known for something. Like, for example, how Belgium is known for chocolate? Well. It's for good reason. Holy hand made dark chocolates, Batman! We have spent the last two days in Belgium in a small city called Bruges. Sometimes spelled Brugge, and occasionally, though not often, spelled Brugse. It is a historic medieval town that apparently looks almost identical to when it was first built. We decided ...

... Fortunately, we finally reached the front of the line with about an hour to spare, giving us time to look out over Brussels and tour the exhibits inside the adjacent spheres, the latter of which proved surprisingly difficult, as signs directing us to the escalator ultimately led us back outside, where there was no escalator at all.

We crossed the old drawbridge which was really cool and we continued on to another church which was free to enter so we entered. It was all gothicy looking and dark woody. It was quite an experience to be in there and see things like the baptismal font which dated back to about 1650 and paintings back to the 1700s. It also had some holy relics but the explanations were not in ...

... now, tofurkey is DELISH!
After walking around a bit, we went into a small church where we supposedly saw a vial of Jesus' blood. I'm wondering how they knew it was Jesus' blood! I mean, if they were to do a blood test, wouldn't they've had to know what his blood was like in the first place? Yet I don't know about blood tests and all that stuff, so I suppose I shouldn't be talking. After that, we ...
