More wet weather on the drive to Lindau through the southern part of the forest into Bavaria. Lindau, on the shores of Lake Constance (Bodensee) is bordered by Austria and Switzerland with an Italian influence. ... and Soph and Phil enjoyed sharing a sausage together. We walked around the old city which was very beautiful. It was misty and the mountains in the distance were hard to see.
The size of the lake is enormous and in summer this area would be very busy.

Today (Sunday) we set off to Bregenz with the weather being the coldest we have had so far- 7 but with a very cold wind making it feel like its 2.
The lady at the hotel suggested for us to visit ...

... flames and 37 people died.


We left Lindau and drove to Rosenheim. Along the way I saw lots of very big mountains with snow on the top. There was even piles of snow on the side of the road. We stopped in the parking lot and I jumped in the snow.I could feel how cold the snow was through my gloves.


Soon we will be in Austria and hopefully seeing more mountains with snow.

... l walked around the outside of Abbey however we couldn't get inside as it isn't opened until May. We did see some monks but it would have been better to see the cloisters. The abbey is enormous and it is hard to believe that it has been here so many years ago.

We have been very lucky with the weather so far with cold mornings (about 2) and beautiful sunny blue skies during the day. It actually reached 18 degrees ...
