... There was an indoor butterfly garden, citrus gardens, a grove of rare Sequoias from china, rose gardens, herb gardens, flower sculptures that look like ducks and peacocks. There were ducks, fish, llamas, sheep, ponies for children to ride on. Amongst the flowers were the obligatory umbrellas announcing beer, food and ice cream is available. From Lake Constance, we headed to Aitrach, mainly because Munich was a little further than our normal distance so thought a stop in between would suit..

141 miles in two days - awesome cycling in glorious weather. From Oberppass to Lake Constance - long sweeping downhills, an unexpected six mile climb, stunning mountain backdrop, through a huge gorge, meadows, farmland, pretty villages.
