... for the water but they don't! They go in every which direction and not very fast. No wonder so many get nabbed by birds, dogs, etc. They have to crawl for a distance over the beach - at least 20 feet or so - in order to imprint the location - however, that happens - magnetically, I guess ..... and then they're off tumbling in the breakers - getting washed every which way until they finally get swept into deeper water. Evidently, they head right for the bottom and whatever waits for ...

- availability of houses to rent in the suburbs on the plateau
- less expensive than the major resort towns
- the laid-back ambiance (this is worth repeating also)
- it is not a destination for the “7 Day-Ahttp://www.mexico-condo.com/Beache s.htm ll-Inclusive” crowd
- it is not a port-of-call for the cruise ships
- did I mention the great beaches

It was interesting because in the first house we went to we found A. aegyptis larva inside of a water feeder for one of their roosters that they forgot was there. There were also some in the water tank that they use to conserve water. In many parts of Oaxaca, they only get water one day a week. Therefore, people save it in tanks. ... Sol and Corona vans, delivering to the most obscure little bars. I think today we are going to get a taxi up to this lagoon which is supposed to be a nice spot. Loads of the guys here are heading down into Guatemala and we are really looking forward to that. G - Its Monday now and we´re still in Escondido and my entire body hurts. I went for 2 hours surfing lesson at 9 this morning and I´m shattered, Im pretty sunburnt too, bodyboarding yesterday was so much fun ...
