With the hostel guys we spent a great night at the hotel bar
and in a bar at Playa Zicatella, went to the Carrizalillo beach with party hats
(Brenton’s birthday) and spent a little bit of time at the Zicatella beach to
watch the big waves coming in.

We had a relaxed time there, but for us it was time to move
on and take the bus to San Cristobal de las Casas after five days in Puerto

    PUERTO ESCONDIDO

The next stop was our long awaited return to the beach. After covering A LOT of miles over the last week we were starting to get over bus travel. Reflecting on our decision to head deep into Guatemala we feel as though we could have turned towards the coast a little earlier than we did. There ...

... guess, I could have broke my spine. After that I decided to stay in the shallows. Later that afternoon when the tide was in I was laying in close to shore when all of a sudden a fish bit me on the ribs, I felt it snap at my skin and I jumped up, it hasn't happened before and I'd been in the water a lot so I just thought it was a once off, I laid back in the water and not a few seconds later, BAM!! Again something bites me on the stomach this time I see a ...
