... pretty cool girl named Marilyn. Bit like me she has no idea what's she's doing so we got on pretty well haha. She was actually trying to help me with my Spanish, unfortunately she's gone now so no more free teacher haha. I've also kind of adopted a local dog here, appropriately named fleas. I made a drink tub for him and give him a little food sometimes. Going home is still an option however I'm kind of off that now for certain reasons. I'm thinking if I can work my ...

... Somehow I managed to find a second wind and stay up late. Everyone is so friendly with the most interesting stories. Today I went onto the market and bought some groceries, and then went out for dinner with a couple of the guys here down in Puerto. It's so relaxing I can begin to explain. Best decision ever to come ...

Puerto Escondido Day 2

A travel blog entry by ryanaross on Oct 24, 2011

Got some good sleep, room cooled off fast with a couple fans going. Up at 8 today, took a cold shower then moved hostels to the one with Heather and Michael. It is far cheaper, about $4.50 and more central so that was a good call. But they are leaving on the night bus tonight. We literally missed them by minutes at the bar last night apparently. Had a nice breakfast right on the sandy beach, chorizo and eggs, rice, beans and tortillas. Watched the waves ...
