        ... eyes and all is just too much. If it looks like it's about to flap off the plate, I lose my appetite. Whole calamari is even worse. Rings are fine, a giant squid head is not. I've had to resort to asking how everything is prepared. Several times I've given up and ordered a steak.

We left our fellow passengers milling around outside the cruise terminal like lost sheep while we led the way across the bridge into town. We headed up Las Ramblas (Barcelona's well known but very much over rated tourist meca) to the covered market.         ... a ovation for the entire 100 metres of the sprint from all of those looking over the side. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. He was a good sport and did a bow going up the gangway. That night we went with the girls to the Japanese restaurant and enjoyed the food once again.
