... or 10 hour flight and I was loopy. But we made some good discoveries on Day 2. We toured the University of Bologna a bit, which is Europe's oldest university. Our library tour allowed for no photographs, which is fine. It left more room on my phone for food porn. That's what really matters here.

I also bought toothpaste on this magnificent day, which brings me to my chosen TravelPod title. ...

... speaks Italian round these parts. Bologna has a massive railway station with 19 platforms. I sort of assume that we are on the right one. ............ Update on this train. ... cheese, and had a tasting with some wine. Everything here includes wine! I won't complain.

Next was the balsamic vinegar factory in Modena. Best balsamic in the world! But if you taste it on just spoons, wow...not good. I said it tasted a mixture of honey and black licorice. Strange and not good. However, the white vinegar was soooo good, if you've never tried it, I highly recommend!

... above the snow line, there must haze been a considerable amount here as there is still a couple of foot at the rides of the road. There seems to be a vast amount of wagons on the road today, I would estimate that two thirds of all the tragic was HGV's. Because of the time we spent wandering around shops we only got as far as Bologna before finding an overnight stop. There is still lots if snow in the parking place, ...
