... their only popular beer, Kronenbourg, is just average. I had a salad that was so pretty I didn't want to eat it...I did, however, and it was great!

From there we did the boat tour on Lake Annecy, which was the highlight of the trip. This lake is the cleanest lake in Europe...proven through scientific could see as the water was so blue and clear. I felt like I kept snapping photos and videos with reckless abandon...that ...

... the top of Aiguille du Midi. We were lucky to find good weather with some cloud but at least we could see through the Alps and take in the breathtaking views. We also had a clear view of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps.

After descending back to Chamonix, we made our way back to Annecy. I was feeling pretty lousy still so we enjoyed a pretty low key evening walking around the Old Town before going to bed ready for the next car trip in the morning!
