When we got the meeting room that we were going to have the presentation on I thought it was a way better room because we had an amazing view of the river that I feel in love with. ... are these not as prolific in the world as chocolate chip cookies!? Matthew didn't object when I suggested that we stockpile enough macaroons to carry us through the rest of our holiday.

Before departing for the rest of our itinerary, we walked along the lake and stopped over the Pont des Amours (Lover's Bridge) to take in the crisp beauty of the sheltered scenery. If this place was any indication, I could already tell that I was going to love the Alps!

We went back to the hotel, had a bit of a nap and than went for a walk to find dinner.I had Magret de Canard with tagliatelle (Duck breast and sort of thick spaghetti). It was okay. Hubby had Calzone and he said it was good. Other than that we were back at the hotel fairly early but not to sleep as hubby watched Die Hard in French on TV. It was so late by the time I fell asleep.
