      ... have gone up in price! Vino and pizza for lunch, che sorpresa! I find I'm annoyed now when people speak English to me, I'm speaking Italian (or maybe not......) Mainland - Tuscany is only 30 mins or so away, €10 people, €50 car. I wonder if people commute? One ferry company have 100 trips to and fro per week starting at 515 am so I'm guessing so.       It was originally built by a German Baroness and then was left to its own devices for many years until Claudia and Jim saw it and restored it to its former glory in 1999. They had to get everything around to the villa by boat. All the builders had a winch everything to get all the building materials up to the decaying villa.       Since we arrived, Janet, the english lady who looks after the Villa for Jim & Claudia has been up most days and has given us some freshly caught Octopus and Swordfish as her two sons are local fisherman.
