Just remember that Girona is a lovely, expensive, rude, determined, delightful, plain and different place. If you can make your mind up and go after that ridiculous summary of words - good on you. Oh no, rain. That's how the day started off but what wonderful luck we had in that the clouds decided to part and from 11am the sun was beaming for our day of exploring Girona. Breakfast was consumed at a lovely little cafe not far from the old town (funny story coming later re: the location). As we consumed our fresh orange juice we marvelled at the living tree that had been planted to the right of us. Once we had filled our bellies, we moved on to locate the tourist information. ...
