... loved it, while Deb and I fended off the Moroccan beach sellers' advances. A quick stop for lunch before Deb then led us on a wander into town, via some picturesque industrial estates and a run down fair ground.

The boys started to get into the swing of things making friends at the campsite with some German kids, so we didn't see much of them after we got back.

... All of us were talking to our guide about how she got the position/job she has and how she has visited 27 different countries and she is only 24 years old. ... stores were open on Sundays…but I was wrong …I walked for two hours from one supermarket to the next…always thinking that they were all open. I finally made it to Esselunga and bought what I needed to buy.

On my travels I walked past an obvious Lucca F.C. supporter and asked (nicely) what time the game was on…well!!! Somehow, I had offended this elderly gentleman…the first thing he said - in Italian of course...
