University begins
... weekend, with a group of us going out for a Chinese. How very cultural of us I know! But it was delicious and nice to have a change from all the Italian cuisine! Sadly, I have woken up this morning ill and so have decided to use the time to write this post. Sorry it is quite long!
(A spoiler for next time: this Saturday is the European Chocolate festival.... Guess where I'm headed....?!)

Ancona Italy
Arrived 7am but didn't go ashore until 11. Berthed right in town so an easy walk to do some shopping. Saturday today so market stalls everywhere and really good shops. Had a good Illy coffee and a walk up the hill for a view. Nice fine weather today about 24 degrees. Had lunch in Marco Polo restaurant. Really very good food. Sailed for Corfu during lunch. The time in ports is quite short on this cruise but really still enough to see the ...

Real university lessons start on Monday, which is very scary! I think I'm just going to be stuck in a lecture hall without a clue of what's actually going on for a while..... Ah well, I'm sure I'll catch on! Hopefully!!!

... Some are topping up with cabins fares to sleep once onboard.
At 2030 we are out on the aft deck to see the last of Split and Croatia lights fading into the darkness, flat sea, near full moon - so a fitting end to a very good last 2 weeks. One glass of Plavac wine and a short recce to the olive oil shop onboard!! - and early bed

Loving the coast: Pisa & Pesaro
