Last Stop in Italy
I woke up this morning as the Silhouette began docking in Genoa, Italy. It was a beautiful morning. Genoa is an ancient city built into the Italian mountainside. It was sort of reminiscent of Monte Carlo, just on a much smaller scale.

Monterosso
The rest of the dance camp was incredibly fun and a great workout to boot. The castle we stayed in was very cute and the food in Genova was delicious. On Monday, after the dance camp ended, we traveled by train to Cinque Terre. Amir picked up a bug in the process of jet lag and dancing so many hours a day. Genoa: Somewhere between Venice and St. Petersburg
... was the building behind it.I then traced my steps back to San Lorenzo Cathedral to admire the black white stonework and rather sad looking lion. I found THE best gelatto at Fruit and Nut – pistachio, tiramisu, and chocolate chip. I am glad I waited until Monterosso for my first taste of gelatto, it will be hard not to try some in Milan now. Genoa, the home of Christopher Columbus and a town I would like to spend more time in the next time I am back this way.
