The weather was glorious, my dress was glorious, my new friend was glorious and we were out and about by 9:30!  Today we were learning from our mistakes and we went to the supermarket to get food early, so we didn't have to eat icecream for lunch and dinner (oh the burden that was...not).  Packed with cheese, good wine, bread and tomatoes we went back and put them in the logical place you put food.  Under the duvet cover on the bed. ...

... into my ticket wallet, it only occured to me after I was on the train to Gatwick, to check whether it was actually Gatwick I was flying from.  Down to luck, previous planning and not down to my organisational skills, I was on my way to the right airport.  I got there before check-in even opened, and dropped my bag. With more than 9 people, we were able to find a huge discount on tickets! For both ways, it was 11€ per person, even without a "Carte de reduction Jeune"( A huge savings card for youths between the ages of 12-25). I would highly suggest buying one as it saves you up to 50% on train ...

    Heat, mountains and exhaustion

... made our entry into Luxembourg City, the third capitol of this trip, in still heat of 25 C at 6pm and at my friends' house near the Gare du Luxembourg. Plied with wine and hearty food we felt this was more than well deserved. It was also my last day on this trip with Jonathan, who had to leave the following morning. I have a rest day on Monday, visiting a Luxembourg foundation that works with people with Autism. More about that in next entry.
