Sorry to have to keep it short tonight, but it's been an extremely long day with not much to report - other than the fact that I arrived safely at my hotel in San Jose.

I was in bed for about 4 hours last night, and awake for 3:45 hours of that time. I was just too excited to sleep! So I got up before 3am to drive to the airport in time for a 6am flight. It was still dark out, so seeing a shooting star out my airplane window ...

... again! But it'll be great to see all of our friends and family and to a degree, get back into a regularly lifestyle and routine filled with things we like doing (and save some money). It will be really good to be back, a year really is a long time to be gone, so I hope everyone's preparing for our return (Dad, Chloe sent me a picture of my room ....) and we are definitely looking forward to being reunited with our family!

... s hug and every child's smile. The way he works here is so powerful that we have all found ourselves reduced to tears on many occasions. I feel like God has given me a brand new lens with which to see life, and I will surely will never be the same.
