This morning we weren't all that unhappy to leave the sheridan arabella in munich as we weren't wearing the correct clothing, black cloth and head gear. We headed off to the castle of Neuschwanstein ( the castle they use in the beginning of Walt Disney ). Was good but guess what we have done the abc and not likely see another, they are beautiful but not our thing. Had lunch at ...

While yesterday was about Richard achieving a bucket-list goal and climbing the majestic Stelvio alpine mountain, today saw Susan achieve her goal of cycling further than she ever has before, through some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. Next we went to the historic Winter Olympic Games site. We got to see where the ski jumping events took place. We had free time in Innsbruck to walk around and shop. We stopped at the famous Swarovski ...

Today we traveled to Austria. It was a long day once again. We stopped in Liechtenstein for lunch, which was actually kind of a bust. We only had an hour for lunch and we were kinda in the not so pretty part of the country. I would compare it to Portsmouth, Virginia. We had some exploring time and then we all had dinner. One of the differences from the other countries is that boys and girls are ...

    Cat sitting in Innsbruck!

... and ten minutes later the manager came with his key and opened my door. From then on, I always checked three times before closing my door!

The next day I woke up early, took a quick shower and by seven was in the Altstadt, blue sky, this pale morning light that made these little old streets a little mysterious. A lovely stroll in an empty sleepy old city center, beautiful houses with painted facades and carvings. By eight I found an open Konditorei and enjoyed a ...
