... The Older church is no longer used but well maintained. It has exposed original mosaic flooring in places and frescos cove parts of the walls,. Some of these are in fairly good condition. There is a large wooden cross on one wall with somewhere below it where the locals can light a candle. It turns out that this is the Baptistry of the Newer church. The newer church next door is very ornate. A man is playing the organ so we do not take any photos or stay long. The TD ...

25th 2014 I went with two lovely ladies and one wonderful
man to a club. My very first club. And as I am Canadian I was getting
ready for bed before I had even left the house. The party was

only thing keeping me awake! After getting ready for 4 hours, it was

... We needed to walk back to the station, as there had been too much sampling. We ended up walking from Milan Centrale to the duomo as well as we weren't sure we had walked enough during the day Our evening aperitivo saw us on the top floor of the Rinescento building. There was a fabulous view of the duomo from the terrace, and the spuntini were elegantly delicious Tuesday Marilena shopped and I wandered through the Brera region again and then decided to go to ...

... people in at a time for a maximum of 15 minutes. The amazing thing about this artwork is that during the second world war the entire building was destroyed in a bombing, except for the one wall with the painting on. They have now rebuilt around it and created a high tech temperature controlled room to keep it safe from decay.

Check out the pics to see a bit more of what I got up to.
