    ... sellers were doing a roaring trade. You could also buy a cloak to cover yourself from the ticket seller. One lady in particular was hilarious. She had on a dress, just a drawstring wasted thing, with full sleeves, and came to about mid-thigh. I didn't think she looked too bad, but the door police were having none of it... and she kept pulling the dress down to try and reach the two finger limit.     ... from England, she suggested several things that would help us. Number 1 was to get an all-day hop on–hop off ticket for the ferry on Lake Como. A brilliant arrangement that we used a number of times during the day. The ferries run regularly and are prompt and efficient for quick transfers between villages. We travelled between Bellagio and Vareena and Managgio and Tremezzo and Lenno throughout the day.
