... more purchases there. Walked down the street and passed some more shops but then decided to head back to the hotel to relax before we headed out again. At about 1pm we caught a taxi to Vatican City and found our way to the cafe Vatican where we had a bite to eat for lunch and sat around on the steps to pass some time before our tour started. Our tour started at 2.15pm, our tour guide Emma was lovely so we were off to a good start. The tour began ...

The weather is hot and sunny and after siesta, we walked back towards the town centre to have a mooch around and find the tourist information centre. Pescasseroli isn't perched on a hill but is still pretty enough in its own way. It seems to be mainly geared up for the ski season. The tourist information was closed so we had an ice cream and headed back to the campsite.

... The final dinner at Villa Grazzioli was memorable, again for the sumptuousness of our splendid faded surroundings and the amusing attention of the ever present Claudio, who gives meaning to the phrase 'the charming Italian!' He was sorely tried this weekend I suspect, having being charged with keeping happy a tricky group of English guests who were irritated at being supplanted elsewhere, 55 toga loving swedes and to add insult to injury an family of ...

... 10euro rather then 90 euro. I can wait. Trains don't come as often to Sunday so miss one a very long wait I didn't realise how long the wait would be if I missed, risk in Rome with everything on a Sunday. I just saw 43 nuns walking down into the city of CAstel Gondolfo and thought would my children know what a nun was? Cameron I was taught by a nun in grade 3. Can you look it up in the dictionary and send me a message back with what is a ...
