In a nutshell- Cousin Corrado took us all over Lake Como, including to the castle where they filmed Casino Royale, and George Clooney's place! He took us up the mountain side. We always thought that we were at the top, but then we went higher! We went for a walk around the area. We went down to S. Segmente for an expresso and then up into the hills. We also went to Lugano Lido where Corrado works in Switzerland for a fun day of swimming. The ...

... town and took a short hike on one of the many trails to maintain our hiking skills. On 9/10 we hiked from Saas-Fee down to Saas-Grund on the Trail of the Chapels, a timeworn pilgrimage route. ... as we made the drop, I leant into the boat as much as possible, I felt something grab my collar and pull me into the middle of the boat. I realised it was the instructor probably saving my life. That's cool. Hahahaha! There were more drops and one that was so big we had to all sit in the middle of the boat. It became full of water and my body was so cold and numb by this stage. Hahahaha!

Eventually, it came to an end. I was really sad to get out. :( The ...

We awoke early, had breakfast and lined up to buy tickets for the boat cruise to Bellagio. This trip would take 2 hours as it was stopping at many of the villages scattered around the lake. It was amazing just how many homes there were and they ranged from quaint cottages to large majestic villas with expansive gardens. We took many photos along the way as each village had its own individual style. Unfortunately there was no commentary with ...
