    ... I was. However it never bothered me that I was 'lost' as really I had no actual place to be and was able to just soak up my surroundings and enjoy the smells coming from the bakeries, admire the architecture of the old buildings and bridges, watch the gondolas on the canals, window shop in the expensive boutiques and designer stores and sit in cafés sipping on cappuccinos and presecco. Also wandering off into the back lanes and away from the popular Piazza San Marco ...

    ... everyone was drinking in the street and having a great time! We then walked to the massive wall turned left and spied the leaning tower that is Pisa! It was a grand sight and was even better at night as there weren't too many people around! We then walked back to the square and shared a large 2 Euro bottle of Peroni which people were selling in the square and we made our way back to the hostel at around 1am. Loving Pisa!

    ... a lot of fat old wrinkly people in togs that were too small for them (men in particular) chain smoking and throwing their butts in the sea. They quite happily walked around the camp in them, and sat at the resturant in them. Tried to have a nap on the beach but it was such craziness that didnt happen!
