    ... was still an awesome atmosphere but I was able to be on the fence and watch the riders as they negotiated a narrowing of the road. Since once they arrived in Milan they had to do several laps of the circuit I was able to really watch the race develop so it was quite a different experience to the one I had on stage 5 in Bagni di Lucca.     We woke up lateish again today, got up, got ready and went next door to a bar to get breakfast and coffee. After that Fabio picked us up.
