... Sforzesco for a brief walk around - it is huge and beautifully built with rounded brick turrets and huge courtyards. We decided not to catch the metro but walk through the city, it is more interesting that way. We then visited the Duomo for an inside look. We took the audio tour, visited the crypt and found a cardinal Alfredo Ildefonso Schuster who was honoured for his contributions. He might be related! We then decided to go up to the roof of the Duomo ( ... Steps). What ...

... much to Oliver's delight.

We reached Como at about 5pm, and checked into our hotel. That left us time to walk down to the quay, have a drink at a cafe popular with the local sparrows, and wend our way to a delightful restaurant round the corner from the hotel. A short walk along the lakeside helped us to digest it all, before finishing with a bottle of wine watching the busy Saturday nightlife from our room's ...

Bread, Biscuits, and Burger King Beers

... our way back to the hostel to get a map. When we asked the front desk guy if he had a map he pointed to the one on the wall, not extremely helpful but we would make do. It took all three of us to survey the wall map and when I finally asked that same desk guy how to get to the central part of Milan and where to find it on the map - he said we weren't in Milan. The three of us looked at each other and just starting laughing. Where the heck are we?!? Apparently we are in ...
