The rest of our time in Arbatax

... excursions similar to the ones we did on the cruise ship. We also swam the most at the spa's pool because it was adults only, which was pretty nice.

Our hotel was more like a townhouse in a big white concrete row. All these cottages and townhouses like this reminded me of being in Greece and even the spa was decorated similarly. There are also these giant trees that have really pretty bright pink flowers on them that would fall off and onto the ground. ...

    Massages, Swimming & Bank Issues

... did manage to figure out how to send my bank a confidential email using online banking (again, thank you Nathan!). So I felt better knowing I had let them know what was going on so that steps could be taken to have things resolved.

Our first full day in Arbatax

A travel blog entry by malloryharvie on Jun 21, 2014

... sore from all the luggage lugging we had done over the last few weeks.

Eventually we encountered signs that helped point us in the general directions and we just kept going. At one point I got Brittany to stay behind while I walked ahead to see if the signs had the right directions for our resort, and I lucked out because they did. Eventually, after a long uphill battle with our suitcases we arrived, where we didn't have to touch our bags ...

    Stuck in Sardinia

... waiter always asked if I was having it today...most days that was a "si"! (yes)

Now the food may be amazing...but here in Italy, its always complemented with wine. I tried some amazing flavours but my favourite here was a local Sardinian wine called "Tanca Farra" from Alghero which is in the North West of the island, and Famous for a place called "Neptunes Caves" dedicated to the God of the Sea. If I was converting it to a wine in Australia, it would ...
