Il percorso consigliatomi da Fancello è quello breve. Decido di prendere il tratto panoramico. La scelta mi premia. Il Supramonte domina tutto il tragitto e la sua vista è assolutamente fantastica. Incontro pochissime macchine e dopo una salita un po' duretta arrivo ad Orgosolo.
Sono qua per i murales ed effettivamente non c'è molto altro da vedere. Dalla città natale di Graziano Mesina mi aspettavo anche qualcos'altro, ma trovo ...
4. Stop Oliena
Auf der Fahrt von Aritzo nach Oliena hielten wir im Nuraghendorf "Su Nuraxi". Nuraghen sind prähistorische Turmbauten auf Sardinien (1800 - 1500 v.Chr.). Den Nachmittag verbrachten wir im Naturreservat Giara di Gesturi mit den berühmten wilden Pferden. Wir sahen auch wilde Stiere und viele seltene Pflanzen. Am Abend Einchecken ins Gourmet Hotel u Gologone. Man sagt, eine Sardinien-Reise ohne den Besuch im Su Gologone wäre wie ein Rom-Besuch ohne Kolosseum. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

To Cala Gonone
... to the beach to a live music venue, then into a beer garden where we had a selection of drinks.
The darkness could have been a problem for seeing our way home, but for our froggy keyring, which let out a light while making a rainforest frog noise.
The sleep in the car was quite comfortable this time.
Its something we would have to do more as we had spent vastly since being here and now needed to economise.

Day of Nuraghi's
... Marina di Tertenia.
There was a small inland pool of warm water which was fun for the children to play in.
The sun set and we moved on to another beach, Marina di Bari, where we set up camp in a pricey, something star beachfront site.
We dined in the restaurant there, me on aubergine parmigiano which was delicious, accompanied by the local beer.
That was our nuraghi day done with, and I didn't know if Eleanor could bear me to drag her around anymore, but we'll see.

Hanging out on the Golgo Plateau
... three little piglets that ran around, and a relaxed cute calf. There were murky ponds to see and and a huge hole in the ground called Su Sterru that led to Sardinias deepest cave system.
We went back to the Goloritze parking snack bar to buy some of their spicy and pecorino flavoured crisps, and took them back to camp. I ate mine to the accompaniment of the Cannonau wine.
