Our hotel was more like a townhouse in a big white concrete row. All these cottages and townhouses like this reminded me of being in Greece and even the spa was decorated similarly. Our first full day in Arbatax was pretty good and we spent the majority of our time at the spa and wellness centre at the resort. We had paid the extra money for admittance when we booked, and had fallen in love with it.
We had to catch a semi-hourly bus from our hotel within the resort up through the wildlife park and to the spa. The wildlife park there was wonderful and it was just wide open space that extended up the mountain and around the spa. ...

Eventually we encountered signs that helped point us in the general directions and we just kept going. At one point I got Brittany to stay behind while I walked ahead to see if the signs had the right directions for our resort, and I lucked out because they did. Eventually, after a long uphill battle with our suitcases we arrived, where we didn't have to touch our bags ...

I tried some amazing flavours but my favourite here was a local Sardinian wine called "Tanca Farra" from Alghero which is in the North West of the island, and Famous for a place called "Neptunes Caves" dedicated to the God of the Sea.
