... lunch sorted! So filling too!
The afternoon saw a visit to the cheap pastry place to stock up on
treats for the trip to Switzerland. Also, I completed my mask hunting mission
and purchased an authentic half faced purple, white and gold mask with feathers!
It's gorgeous. Not only this, but I also purchased a lovely blue murano glass

... receive everything. Dave made it through with no problem. Sara set it off. A female security guard approached Sara and asked her where her mother was. I identified myself on the other side of security. Sara was befuddled. She wasn't panicked, just unsure of what was going on. The security agent asked me if she could wand her. I gave her permission, she was wanded, and she was cleared. But wait. It gets better. She and I are carrying identical backpacks that ...

... Amazing how such a simple room in Venice comes with a huge price tag hanging over your head!!! Thank goodness Jerry can stand without touching it!! Oy!! We wandered the streets of Venice fighting the "cruise" people on our way to the B&B grabbing some pizza to help us find our way. A brief nap was followed by another evening in our restaurant, gelato & a stroll before heading home. Tomorrow we are up early with the Venetians to capture the town empty of people! Wish us ...
