... the airport. Luckily, the weekend ticket was much cheaper than weekday one. To get to the airport, however, we had to go to Niigata Train Station first and then catch another bus to the airport. At the train station, because there were not many buses going to the airport, we had plenty of waiting time. Fortunately, I found a bakery and cafe in the station building and it was the best place to kill time. Because my mother was eager to eat bread during the trip, she looked happy, ...

Local people and visitors were dressed in their traditional Japanese finery, men, women and children, and the whole city ...

Such a beautiful home, delicious food and stunning Japanese garden and bonsai. A wonderful visit to Yahiko mountain and shrine and the seaside. A trip into Niigata city to Kobari Beach, Sea of Japan. ... bag was that much lighter with a lot of empty space for me to fill again.

Dinner was an assortment of pre-packaged buns and rolls with weird and wonderful flavours which some people may say isn't really dinner, well tough bikkies they tasted too good for me to care. We used the ancient computer in the lobby of the hotel to get in touch with the outside world again and to let our hosts on Sado island know what time we will be arriving the next day then headed off to bed.
