... town has the cobbled streets and a lot of eateries, but certainly rely on tourism to sustain them. We've tried some different foods and deserts, and thankfully we've walked off of the extra calories (I hope anyway). Tomorrow we have a train adventure getting through the Alps to Interlakken Switzerland. We have 5 different trains between 0700 and 1500, a few have 4 minutes between switching trains (ie finding the train, platform number etc). Wish us luck that we don't miss any ...

A lazy morning, after interrupted sleep, in cloud-enveloped mountainss, so a quick shower and cuppas before attempt number 2 at ...

... and shops! We stopped at the first restaurant, Maxamillian's and had a lush lunch before a wander. The shops (mainly skiing/hiking/biking gear) were mega pricey, clearly catering to the posh skiers in ski season and the snobby cyclists in summer who heard about this place from the posh skiers!! A lovely wander, quick stop at a chemist to get a different antihistamine to try to zap the prickly heat, then scouting out tomorrow's lunch ...

Day 27 Another 8am start to travel our 292km to Lech, Austria. We started the day by climbing back over Passo di Gardena, heading West to St. Ulrich. We then used the motorway to head North East passed Brixen then onto Sterzing.before leaving Itally via the 2474 meter, Timmelsjoch Pass. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timmels joch This pass was first planned in 1859 however it was not completed and opened to traffic until 1967.
