But viewing Neuschwanstein from Mary's Bridge, suspended above the castle, has been the highlight of this trip so far. It was definitely worth a 2-hour train ride and an hour's worth of hiking to see this modern wonder.

Mary crashed with us again and again we all got a decent night's sleep. We walked through the Old Town to a different restaurant and had a great breakfast, this time with low-carb options including scrambled eggs and surprisingly good (for Europe) bacon.
