    Slovenia has only 16 miles of coastline, not much compared to Croatia's thousands of miles of coast when you include all of its islands and peninsulas.     ... and a half with the vast majority of it in the mountains. One word - 'Amazing'. It is only a 5 minute walk to our B&B, and after just a little confusion we eventually meet the owner. The place is called 'Casa Angela' and funnily enough it's named after her. Angela welcomed us into our 'Appartment' for the night and offered us Coffee and Cake. Nice touch I thought.     There is a difference in the two towns. Piran seems to be the home of the boaties while Portoroz has the beach frontage with the regimented rows of deck chairs and beach umbrellas. In fact, both centres have a very long history that predates the Roman Empire.
