    ... so tough that we just pointed to what we needed done. Guess she knew what we needed because our clothes didn't disintegrate or shrink. I cannot tell you how wonderful it felt to have fresh-smelling clothes again! It was like a whole new energizer. Haha!

    After the laundromat we stopped at a cafe by the hotel for an afternoon snack. Our "snack" was 2 large beers & this amazing chicken schnitzel covered in this mouth-watering mushroom ...

    ... old style (like the old town hall) and repaired or replaced what they could. But a lot of stuff has obviously been lost. They had this one room where a huge mantle had been built and decorated with seashells. The imagery was more greek than german. (I'm pretty sure I saw Poseidon in there) there was one particularly creepy room for "holy relics" I'm not sure why they were holy but there were body parts encased in golden cases.     ... of Cadbury. The place was packed, so obviously, there are a lot of devotees. Across the street from the Schrannenhalle, people were lined up down the block for a donut-like item, so of course, I joined the fast-moving line. All these people must be on to something! The attraction was a pastry, pretty much a round beaver tail, or one large, flat mini donut, dipped in sugar and yes, very good.

    ... and the Beast' by Disney was modeled basked on this castle. The road in the town was cleared of the snow but everywhere else the snow was up to 3 feet high so you can image it was pretty cold up there. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

    ... the cloth bags I put in the baggage we returned with eggs, meat and cheeses for 22.53 Euros.

    Did I say that the Euro is trading at $.73 to the dollar? Or better yet to understand, it is 1.36 dollars to the Euro.

    Next up a nap, as we are almost dead on our feet. Got up at 5:30 pm and challenged with the hot water, we each took a short sponge bath and changed clothes, collected cameras and headed to the downtown. We just travel with too much stuff.
