Today was not only my last day in Salzburg, but also the last day it is supposed to be crummy cold rain. When I saw the rain wasn't letting up I decided to make the tragic walk into town. 30 minutes, in the rain, in the cold, with no umbrella or rain jacket. It was not pleasant, but I'm glad I did it. When I finally got into town I walked into a local restaurant, absolutely dripping and looking like a wet dog... I'm sure it wasn't a pretty sight, but they were still quite ...

... tour this morning. I had intended to just buy a ticket on the hop on/off bus for today but walking tours are much better. Our tour guide was a texan expat named Kevin. ... skating, before dropping most people at her favourite beer house – Hofbrauhaus Munchen. This place was huge! There were several floors spanning great distances, and long wooden table laid out like a great hall setting. The beer maids could literally hold half a dozen full steins in each hand, and the traditional food wafting from the kitchen smelt divine. If memory serves me correctly as you walk in to the left there is what looks like a coats ...

... I think I fit in a little better in Copenhagen. We stayed at a hotel in the center of the city that was only a 10 minute walk from Oktoberfest. After we got settled into our hotel we went to check out Oktoberfest for a few hours. We started off by going into one of the beer gardens and sitting with this adorable German couple and a group of men who kept cheers-ing us every 5 minutes (well prost-ing us because prost is cheers in German). About every ...
