... for 172 days, most of the rooms were empty. The most impressive features were usually the chandeliers, which resembled crowns. The best was the two tiered one in the throne room (which was ironically throne-less). After four floors inside the castle plus scaling the cliff to get up in the first place, we were more than ready to head back down, a journey which took a third of the time and a tenth of the effort. Somehow we still needed ice cream on the way down ...

... to endure. A large element of the NAZIs philosophy was to dehumanise each prisoner. As they entered the camp they went through a brutal process which stripped them of their individuality. ... of the castle. We got a few snaps then walked up to the entrance to begin our tour of the castle.

Neuschwanstein castle was built by King Ludwig II during his reign as king in the late 1800's. He grew up in the Hohenschwangau castle (yellow castle in the picture) which is very close to the Neuschwanstein, and he had dreamt about building it even as a child. Apparently some of his childhood drawings are very similar to the present day castle. Unfortunately though, ...

... hall. We walked in and first thing we saw was the bunch of rowdy Top Deck boys who were sitting right at the front yelling for more beers. We left there because it was so hot and we didn't want any beers so we went out of there, met up with some of the other girls and walked back together. When we got there at the meeting point we saw everyone crowded around and I had no idea what happened then someone said that James and Dan were fighting ...
