    ... below. The views were spectacular but I didn't get to see much. It was packed with a busload of tourists. (our guide made us walk but there was a bus, and two of them stopped just before we made it to the bridge) Add in my fear of heights and the floor of the bridge was made of wooden planks that were not as sturdy as I would have liked. There were heaps of Australians in our tour, maybe because of Wombats, and other people from all over. The tour guide liked to talk a lot and was very strident and a bit controversial.     Dinner:After an exhausting day of touring the city, we decided to rest our feet at a local bar. We popped into a sports bar near Karlsplatz for a drink but decided to end our evening at one of the more popular local beer halls, Augstiner Keller.     ... other we headed into Munich city to check out the famous beer hall, Hofbraeuhaus.
    The beer hall was everything you would expect, huge, noisy, beer wenches pumping out beer, tables and tables of people with 1 litre stines, German chanting and amazing food floating about.
