... Velo auf die Meiersalp gefahren und habe dort gecampt. Die Nacht war Sternenklar und die Temperaturen auch noch relativ hoch (ca. 5 Grad Celsius). Es wird deshalb bestimmt nicht meine letzte Testfahrt gewesen sein.

We were planning to go to Liechtenstein but thought we may as well as it was sort of on our way. It's the worlds 6 smallest country so it would have been rude not to go..haha.

We didn't drive to the main town but to another.. where really there wasn't anything. I did get a photo with the tourist sign though. Had to somehow prove I'd been there!

... quick sites and then jumped back to Switzerland, crossed through Austria for an hour or so, and bam, were back in Germany, hehe....

Now I'm at Sebastian's brother's house, where we will go to sleep soon and visit München tomorrow...

Our third stop of the day was our first in Austria. Now I was entering undiscovered lands! Feldkirch is right on the Switzerland border. The old town centre is surrounded by towers, and a castle sits on a hill above.

Our next stop was St Gallen, home of a beautiful abbey with a medieval library and neighbouring by a charming Old Town. We walked around the abbey exterior before everyone went inside, with the exception of Lincoln and I. I have been here before and know it is a very ornate baroque design inside.

... With the Alps in the background, the Swiss side was postcard pretty. Wait service came around and I had an ice cold beer and enjoyed the scenery. Upon the return to Lindau, I went back to the room and got my laptop and headed to the cafe on the waterfront that had free internet access and called home and spoke to Sandy. ... we visited the island of Mainau where the most beautiful garden I've ever seen in my life is,along with a cool playground that had a pond with rafts in it, and a castle in a town called Meersburg.Then on our way to Oberammergau we stopped at two castles, one of which King Ludwig II of Bavaria built. It was worked on for 17 years and never completely finished. It was gourgeous!
