What we did find out in the evening was that the hotel is easily reached from the top part of the town. If we had known that we would have waited for the second stop when we arrived. We just expected it to be near the beach, about 200 metres! Ha ha!
Overall, It was a quiet, satisfying stay at Lastres.

There are several caves with art in the wider area that can be visited, and when we come back again, we would certainly plan to visit another. One is just outside Cangis de Onis and one further south at San Salvador de Alesga. It is essential to contact the centres for reservation information.

... very excited that we were able to see a work of his! The building of his that we saw was the Capricho - decorated with tiles that have sunflower designs and music notes on them. It's a unique place, for sure! Gaudí was highly influenced by nature, so his architecture is one of a kind.
We had a great time on our first excursion! We will be going on these trips every weekend to see what is around our school.
