It's cloudy today. Valley is filled with clouds and mists. We have more strength now and wanted to try a longer hike. We picked the hike between Tresviso and San Esteban roughly about 3.7 miles long with moderate difficulty.

The path was mostly very exposed to the deep valley and there are ropes and rails at several places. It was a bit ...

... We pretty much backtracked the way we came yesterday till Poncebos. About 30-40 min VERY scenic drive. Really, the view here is so beautiful everywhere. We stopped our car a few times just to enjoy the moments.

Poncebos has 2 of the popular attractions in the area (funicular up to Bulnes and a hike called Garganta del Cares). Parking space is very limited, so by the time we got there, people were ...

    For the next ...

... more and oh my goodness - there is a restaurant in a cave - a must do coffee place on the way back - never had coffee in a cave even if it is freezing outside - Covadonga is a mountain tourist village much like any other except the architecture and scenery is out of this world! We then discover the 'restaurant' in the cave is actually a church! Wow!

Start heading up the mountain to get to the lakes and have a look before we move off to a climb. Stop at a couple of places ...

... but can do a 10km circuit. Should be fun. You could spend two weeks in this park and not do all the tracks!

Booked Airbnb digs again as we get a whole apartment, can cook our own food and have a washing machine much cheaper than we can do any hotel with a single room and no extras! The guy who owns it did a great job of accommodating us with less than an hours ...
