    ... but we chose the walk through the gorge. Fabulous mountain scenery with Griffon vultures circling overhead. The once remote village is now has bars and restaurants catering for the walkers and the tourists coming up on the train.

    A short walk up from the village is the mirador for Picu Urriellu also known as the Naranjo de Bulnes.

    ... further back to Las Arenas where we did a little grocery shopping yesterday. - but it was closed. It's Sunday. We found smaller markets in the village and got supplies for the next few days.

    We had a nice home cooked dinner, and now I'm ready to fall asleep... Greg is still watching some Spanish dubbed American documentary about discovery of mermaids... :)
