Tuesday I will have to wake up pretty early, the Thalys for Paris, Charles de Gaule airport, leaves at 7.10 AM! I will have to wait about two hours, followed by an Air France flight to Antananarivo (capital Madagascar Island). Upon arrival a Mercy Ships representative will be waiting for us, and bring ...

To and Huget both had to go to work, so we had a slow start and then drove to Holland! Maastricht, home of André Rieu! Had a lovely day walking around the two market squares, the food and clothes market stalls and then had lunch watching the people walk by. No churches, museums or art galleries today. Back home for more chatting and snails for dinner. To is truly a great ...

Said goodbye to Rob and Rob. Then had a slow start on our journey east across Belgium. Then............ John found another battlefield! Waterloo is somewhat different from WW2 and WW1. Napoleon was defeated on 18/6/1815 by Wellington's and Blucher's armies. About 70,000 on each side. The end of the Napoleonic Wars. Climbed 226 steps of the Butte Du Lion (Lion's Mound), a conical ...
