    ... in Boulder.
    I am going to take care for 3 wonderfull boys in the age of 6, 5 and 2 years old. I can't wait to meet this hostfamily and to start working for them.
    But first I will catch the plane in Dusseldorf and fly to NYC!
    In NYC I will stay for about 4 days and have some introduction and information about the whole Au Pair thing. And after those 4 days I am flying ...

I will raise this point again when I commence The Camino. Due to its location Charlemagne makes Aachen the centre of his empire and spent most of his winters here.His remains are interred here and although not proven many historians believe that he was born here.

    ... to it. Rows of bare grape vines line the hill in front of a stone wall. The entrance is marked with a massive red door and nestled in on top is a restaurant. I take a seat under the vaulted ceilings and enjoy a crisp dutch white wine.

    Back on the train to Leuven I join the masses of students and commuters. I follow them through the train stations until I find myself walking up to my front door.

    Today we set off from the Linssen Yachts base in Maasbracht heading south. We started in sun but the weather very quickly turned "proper Cornish" - horizontal rain with a touch of sleet!     Only a couple of weeks ago I got informed about a volunteer position onboard the Africa Mercy, i.e. as a Media Liaison Officer. After having discussed this situation with my current employer, I decided to go for it! After the selection procedure, I got the official letter of acceptance: I would serve on the Africa Mercy from Jan - June. A new year, a new adventure!
