... After a sumptuous scallop dinner prepared by Véro we again set out to stroll the streets for the night. For a person like me who is all about go go go, this weekend was the contrary to my visiting style - and I liked it!!

We went bar hopping from La Regie to L'impasse and then ended up at cafe des Sports...

Before we called it a night, Véro came up with the best title for this blog the Le Touqet ...

We opted for the best fit and it took us up roads no wider than a suburban drive way to some ...

500 miles drive back to Calais today......
Left the site at Issoire at 7 and left the motorway north of Orleans at 10:30. Bit more traffic and the detour around Rouen but we got to the site at Calais after a lunch stop and a coffee break for 4:00. Little tent up in 20 mins, quick beer then off to the new pool for a dip then curry for tea. ...

... Neil and I then decided to go down "memory lane". We walked down to the Casino end of town and marvelled at a huge complex of flats which had been erected since we came here last year.
We walked round the corner to see the original flat that we had purchased many years ago. It was in a block called Le Shetland. That brought back happy memories!
      We had been looking ...
