... the World's Best Sommelier) and indeed his selection is excellent, a fresh and fruity Beaujolais that goes with any meal, goes even better when drunk in a motorhome, on holiday and in France in the Somme by one of the biggest beaches I have seen. So a great Beaujolais, a great aire and a superb beach before we head to Calais to see the vet again for ...

Ended up here agin after inspecting two other aires, both OK but a bit dirty underfoot and one had to pay. Before we called it a night, Véro came up with the best title for this blog the Le Touqet ...

... weather was pretty dull with an occasional spot of sun. The campsite appears to have been improved, but unfortunately there was no hot water in the showers. But the pitch was level and hard which is essential when it is wet. We went into Wimereux which we haven't done before. It is having a lot of roadworks which mean it is difficult to get ...

... Coupole this is a former German v2 base , now a museum . This place is a reinforced 5 meter thick 70 meter diameter dome built to hold a V2 rocket assembly facility in the later part of WW2 , built by slave labour from a nearby camp and obviously designed to be bomb proof. Two displays one dealing with the occupation and liberation of Northern France and the other dealing with the Nazi rocket program, lots of audio visual static displays made it a very interesting experience . ...
