... freshly made scrambled eggs and the traditional selection of hams, cheese and crusty breads. I enjoyed the tea and coffee. Annette's taste buds must be off as she wasn't keen on the coffee.

Back to the room to pack. An easy one today as we don't have to extract much gear. Annette has a rest while I loaded up the bikes. Misplaced 2 items. Located my 5 cent KMart trouser clips but couldn't locate my gloves. Bugger.

The climb up Carr Ridge to Urra Moor wasn't too bad, but lacked the beauty of the day before. ... his baby over the ledge! The tour then focused on the famous Unter den Linden street. In Berlin's heyday, this street rivaled those in London and Paris. They planted lime trees here and that is how it gets the name- under the lime trees. It is a grand boulevard and stretches from the Reichstag to the former (now gone) palace. I also walked into a hotel that has an aquarium as an elevator!! One of the best buildings on my tour was the Berlin Dom, the cathedral. It is ...
