The longest wait we had after that was at the hotel reception desk, 20 min, only to be told we were at the wrong desk, please go to the other end of the building to the other reception desk! We finally got to bed at 4.30 am after over 24 hrs of travel.

Also, an amazing mosaic by artist Walter ...

... buddies, had arrived from Philly and we were flying to Africa together. First stop: food! Especially since I had slept through dinner and drink service on my first flight and literally sat in my seat without moving for 8 hours. At least the girl two seats over was cute.

      Next stop: Stopover in Khartoum!
